The Invisibles Thoughts on the Authoritarian State

I read somewhere that last year's  (2012) Olympic Games brought about the best that the UK. It demonstrated an ability for all people  of all abilities shapes and sized to perform on a level playing field.
The multicultural nature of the venues also added to pot pourri of these Games, which incidentally was sealed by the amazing opening ceremony linking the history oF britain as an inclusive eclectic and dynamic State.
This contrasts with an exclusive Britain where often that not visible minorities become invisible. Anna Chen demonstrates this lucidly in her Blog about the role of BME's in working class history.
This pathology permeates the structures of society and is often taken for granted. In a historical context much has changed since the 1950's the arrival of West Indians; coincided with a new formed confidence in northern working class entities. This expressed itself in Art,(Hockney) music (Beatles) and Theatre and fashion.

Republican What they are like

The more time and money the Republicans spend trying to make Democrats look bad, is money and time well spent, Simply because their zealots are completely besotted with the narratives emanating from their propaganda wing.
Meanwhile in the Real World they continue to deny any progress made both economically and socially in the past five years.
